This series is about the bonds that we have in the world. Bonds that are strong, weak, unbreakable, broken, mistaken, perceived, and all others that connect us for good or bad. Connecting with others is a universal beauty and struggle. I want the viewers to reflect on their own connections by projecting onto the collaged figures. The lines represent the bond and are tuned to my own story with the figures which are based on family photos from my own childhood. For myself the making of these pieces is more about processing than reminiscing and have aided me in objectively trying to understand the lives and choices of my original bonds.
